Multipolix is a game like Monopoly. The main difference is that Multipolix is
on a world scale. You can buy, trade, and sell countries of the world. The
main objective is to accumulate the most wealth.
When you enter Multipolix, you are asked to press RETURN if you are not using
Monocomm. Monocomm is a terminal program which displays screens faster
by displaying the screens local and the data only is sent from the BBS. If
you use Moncomm, it will detect it automatically. If you are not using it,
just hit RETURN.
You are then asked to select an option. Option One selects Player vs. Player
mode in which you play other users of your BBS. Option Two selects Player vs.
Computer mode in which you play computer-generated players in real time.
Option One - Player vs. Player

This specifys the maximum number of players that can be in this game. Entering
0 for the number will abort and return you to the main menu.
Do you want a team game?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a team game, you can work with a partner. In a non-team game, all players
are independent. If you answer team, you will be allowed to reserve a place
for your partner using a password.
How many hours between turns?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This allows you to specify how many hours there are between turns. If you
specify 12 for example, the player can only take his/her turn every 12 hours.
You can enter any number of hours from 1 - 12. Entering 0 will only let
a player take his/her turn once a day.
Do you want a fast game?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you specify a fast game, the properties are divided among the players before
the game begins. If you do not, all properties are unowned and can be bought
when you land on them.
Do you want the trading option enabled?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This allows you to trade with other people. Specifing No will not allow
any trading to occur. WARNING: If someone wants to trade, the computer
will trade for you. You may not want it to trade something you wish to
keep. Specifying No will keep this from happening.

If you select this, the game will end in the amount of days you specify and
the player who has accumulated the most wealth will win that game.
